Feng Shui

Feng Shui

I have always been a very superstitious person and perhaps this is due to how I was raised. When I was growing up we used to have several elements in our home that were meant to bring good fortune. One of them being a £50 note in the mirror opposite the front door, apparently this was meant to bring wealth and prosperity into our home. However having now done my research this is actually a Feng Shui myth that can completely cut off financial and business-related opportunity. The front door is the mouth of the chi and a mirror will push energy away out of the home or business.

After feeling very deflated I looked into how I could fix the Feng Shui in my home. I have learned that one of the easiest ways to bring good energy into your home is with colour. Feng Shui colours mirror the five elements of Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood. Colours such as red, orange, purple, pink, and yellow represent Fire, bringing these colours into your home or office supports energy, and should help you to achieve recognition in your professional field. The elements of Wood and Earth are represented by the colours of brown, green, light yellow, and beige. Wood is thought of as the symbol of health, vitality, and growth, as well as wealth and prosperity.

Now this is all news to me so I discussed my new found knowledge with my friend. To my surprise she knew exactly what I was talking about! She is a business owner and has the Yorkshire Sunset Canvas Wrap in her Garden Retreat, which according to the internet will bring her all of the good fortune mentioned above.

So I am still unsure as to whether Feng Shui works but I am willing to give it a chance! This also makes the perfect excuse to redecorate and go shopping!
